Custom Gear
Due to the amount of regular orders I have, I will not be accepting any new custom orders for the time being. When I get to the point that I can start doing custom gear orders again, I'll make a note of it here on the web page, so keep checking back!
Below is some of the custom gear I’ve made. Some items are slight modifications of the “production” gear I make; others are totally new. This is just a showcase to show the kinds of items I’ve made and can make. I can make any of the gear shown on this page in any color I carry. If you have any requests for custom gear, please contact me by email. (Look on the "Contact Us" page.)
Coyote Tan/Khaki Garand Stock Pouch with Lift-The-Dot snaps
I bought some Lift-The-Dot snaps to try out. I made two Coyote Tan/Khaki Garand stock pouches for myself with them:
Lift-The-Dot snaps are combat-proven in every climate and terrain on the planet. From the muddy trenches of World War I; to North Africa and Europe and the Pacific of World War II; to the extremes of cold and heat and mountainous terrain of Korea; as well as all of the “Banana Wars” of the 1920s and 1930s, Lift-The-Dot snaps served reliably and well. Lift-The-Dot snaps weren’t phased out because they didn’t work or because the round snaps that replaced them were more reliable. On the contrary. The military—and businesses—eventually moved to the round snap because the round snaps are less expensive and use less labor to install.
I can put Lift-The-Dot snaps on any of my designs. If you’d like to order gear with the Lift-The-Dot snaps instead of Velcro, please email me. There will be an additional charge for the Lift-The-Dot snaps—anywhere from about four dollars for the stock pouches (which only use two) to around $24 for the Garand Grab and Go (which would use 12).
Black 10 pouch Panel for Garand en-blocs, Malice attachments
I had a gentleman who got a Dillon range bag and wanted a Garand panel to go on it. This is what I made:
Coyote Brown 7.62 Magazine pouch with ALICE clips, double mag pouch and single mag pouch
I made these for someone who wanted M1A mag pouches to put on a belt. He wanted ALICE clip attachments. I can also make these magazine pouches with MOLLE attachments.
Coyote Brown AK chest rig
Based on the Russian and Chinese designs, this AK chest rig is made out of modern materials. It hold four 30-rounds magazines in four pouches, with a smaller utility pouch at either end. The shoulder straps are a basic X pattern, and it has a waist belt.
Coyote Brown Garand four-pouch belt panel, ALICE clips
I made these to attach to a belt. One of the good things about ALICE clips is that you don’t have to take your belt off to remove the pouches. I can make these types of pouches with MOLLE attachments.
Coyote Brown M1 Carbine 30-round Grab and Go, 6-pouch/12 magazines
Coyote tan/Khaki M1 Carbine 30-round Grab and Go, 4-pouch/8 magazines
Multicam 7.62 Grab and Go with flashlight pouch
The flashlight pouch added to this 7.62 Grab and Go holds a SureFire G2-sized flashlight.
OD Green 1911 Grab and Go
I had a gentleman get in touch with me about a 1911 Grab and Go. He shoots competition and the ammo carrier he had had four pouches but no strap, so he had to carry it around by hand. I made this Grab and Go for him, and I made the rear panel larger than the size of the pouches so he could use the rear pocket as a dump pouch for his empty magazines. The reason it’s larger is so he could just throw the mags in there any way, and all eight would still fit.
Just a note: custom gear will take longer to produce than normal gear, and is usually more expensive due to the extra time spent in design.
