I sent some of my Grab and Go bags to be reviewed by Mike at the Custom Gear Report. He captured my intent with these designs much better than I could:

“At initial glace this reminds me of a modern day version of a cartridge box or shot pouch and powder horn that would hang behind a minuteman’s door ready to be thrown over his shoulder on the way out of the house. Some more current applications might be by a soldier’s bed side, a patrolman’s trunk or behind the door of a prepared citizen.”

The 7.62 Grab and Go holds eight 20-round magazines in four pouches. The pouches will fit M1A/M14 magazines, FAL magazines, and HK91 magazines.
Each of the Grab and Go bags has a shoulder strap that is made out of an adjustable six foot piece of 2” 17337 webbing. 2” 17337 webbing has a breaking strength of 2200 lbs, so your Grab and Go will be secure. The six foot length of the strap means that it is adjustable to anyone’s torso, no matter how tall you are, and should be able to fit over most armor carriers, too.
Each of the Grab and Go bags also has a rear pocket that is the same size as the overall panel. It is held closed with 1” Velcro that runs the entire width of the opening of the pocket, so anything stored in the rear pocket will be secure.
